LEARN is proud to announce our very own Pam S. from our Office of Teaching and Learning Team received her International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Certification for Educators. ISTE Certification for Educators is the only vendor-neutral, internationally recognized credential for educators who have demonstrated mastery of the educator section of the ISTE Standards. ISTE Certification focuses on pedagogy, not on tools or devices, and is designed to change educational practice, whether you’re a classroom educator, instructional designer, library media specialist, or technology coach.

In order to earn the certification, Pam completed approximately 40 hours over 10 weeks of professional learning. She then assembled an e-portfolio that included artifacts and reflections on her learning in relationship to each of the ISTE Standards for Educators which included designing for diversity, personalized learning, and equity in digital learning environments.
