 Parent/Guardians,

The college process for seniors is moving from completing applications, to filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and applying for scholarships.  Below are local, state, and national scholarships, for your student to complete.  Some scholarships are currently live and some scholarships will be available soon.

As for the FAFSA, I have listed below federal, state, and college deadlines.

https://fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm

Federal Deadline

Online applications must be submitted by midnight Central Time, June 30, 2018.
Any corrections or updates must be submitted by midnight Central Time, September 15, 2018.

State Deadline

Connecticut - February 15, 2017, by midnight, Central Time. For priority consideration, submit application by date specified. Additional forms may be required. Contact your financial aid administrator or your state agency.

College Deadline
Check with the college(s) you are interested in attending. You may also want to ask your college about its definition of an application deadline - whether it is the date the college receives your FAFSA, or the date your FAFSA is processed.
